The Opportunity:
Analytics Support: Assist in developing and maintaining various reports and dashboards for data review, analysis, performance metrics, and operational insights for Biostatistics, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Systems, Clinical Science, and Statistical Programming.
System Implementation: Collaborate with clinical functions to evaluate and implement GxP-compliant clinical systems (e.g., data systems) to ensure data integrity. Collect requirements from stakeholders and work closely with IT to prepare IQ, OQ, PQ, and UAT test cases.
System Management and Maintenance: Support the controlled clinical analysis systems for Statistical Programming to ensure system availability, performance, and compliance. Prepare and organize documentation for folder access control, system patches, and changes.
Project Management: Support cross-functional initiatives through coordination and tracking of project activities and meetings, managing records, and producing progress reports and dashboards.
Teamwork: Participate in team meetings with Statistical Programming, Biostatistics, Clinical Data Science, Clinical Operations, Clinical Science, and IT to improve system management, training delivery, dashboards, and GxP validation processes across multiple priorities.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent front-end programming experience).
Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting clinical systems, clinical operations, data analytics, health informatics, or related functions within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or healthcare industry.
Basic knowledge of dashboard tools (e.g., Python, Tableau) and supporting system performance reporting.
Basic knowledge of approaches to database and data warehouse design.
Eagerness to adapt to new programming languages, tools, and technologies under dynamic conditions.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity, traceability, and reliability.
Ability to track and manage project tasks, timelines, and documentation to completion.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively in a team, and communicate technical and regulatory concepts across diverse departments, including IT, in a fast-paced environment.
Managing deadlines with meticulous attention to detail across concurrent tasks.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience operating GxP-compliant clinical systems in a pharmaceutical setting.
Practical experience with cleaning experimental data for analysis.
Practical experience applying analytical and critical thinking to solving process and organizational challenges.
Familiarity with maintaining dashboards for business or operational insights.
Awareness of software development lifecycle and computer system validation concepts preferred but not required.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process, FDA regulations, and ICH guidelines is a bonus but not required.
